(More customer reviews)Description says "This rates as a 5 on the curtain thickness/room darkening scale (1=very sheer and 5=very thick)", but I would disagree. Mine are gathered to a third of their width (60" wide gathered to about 19") and I'd rate them at most a "2"; they are translucent when gathered, would be sheer if not gathered. They'd have to be made of cotton to be "5=very thick", and white would never be room darkening. They are beautiful, though.
