(More customer reviews)After significant research (almost as much as for the 42" Plasma Panasonic TV) I purchased this mount as it has an articulating arm and is US made. Although the mount looks sturdy, and of good craftsmanship, I discovered on mounting it, following all their instructions to the letter, that the mount causes the TV to tilt forward permanently.
After remounting, sending pictures to the customer service, and weeks of email questions and answers, and adjusting "tension brackets" with missing allen screws, I am returning this to Amazon as they have not been able to solve the problem. The latest round of emails ended in their suggested solution of "bringing this to their location in IL for in-house repair which would take at least a week". They seemed to have a single support person and a Product Manager who was more interested in attending an exhibition rather than solving a customer's problem. I will not be buying a Peerless mount.
In short, I give them 2 stars on design and an 1 star on customer service.
Incidentally, I am in the process of finishing my basement, and resolving this TV mount was the single biggest bottleneck in the entire remodeling job. Just keep in mind that mounting a TV on the wall is a two-man job and so any errors in the design costs you significantly to take down, remount, re-adjust, dismount, repack, ship etc. not to mention purchasing and remounting a new one.
